英国插画协会公布了2017年世界插画奖的类别获奖者，涵盖广告，书籍，儿童读物，设计，编辑，研究，自主创作等。这些作品来自64个国家的2300多个作品，包括“纽约时报设计师拉兹西蒙德”和“Womankind杂志”主编的评审团。
15件赢家作品将在在历史悠久的Somerset House展出，观展人潮高达千万人次。
与其他奖项不同之处是在于，世界插画奖有为现役学生或毕业两年内的新鲜人设立New Talent奖项，其余已有多年从业经验的创作者则可参加Professional项目。
