On May 24th, the winners of “Fireplace Reading” were awarded at the Library reading salon of BJTU Weihai, with fifteen teachers and students on the list. Mr BAI Yanlei, Vice Campus President, and Mr LI Jingtao, Curator of the library attended the ceremony. Mr LI congratulated the award-winners in his speech, and called on students to make it a habit to read, which enhances visions and widens knowledge. Three freshmen students shared their reading experience from the books such as Rashomon, Brief History of Humankind, and Lord of the Flies.
诗人狄金森说：“没有一艘船能像一本书/也没有一匹骏马能像/一页跳跃着的诗行那样——/把人带向远方”。“不到园林，怎知春色如许”？阳春三四月，读书好时节！
