谷歌庆祝18岁生日：原来是随意挑的日子
http://fsvinew.08.fsidc.cn/d/file/news/2016-09-29/844c4aec69718e5c89ff04e083f5a30f.gif 9月27日是谷歌18岁的生日，为此还专门发布了一款纪念涂鸦，有气球和生日帽，充满了童趣。不过，英国《电讯报》指出，谷歌的生日到底在哪一天充满争议。2004年，谷歌在9月7日当天庆祝生日，也发布了纪念涂鸦；2003年，生日是在9月8日庆祝的。
《电讯报》指出：目前，谷歌庆祝生日的日子“看起来并无特别的关联”。谷歌是在1998年9月4日创建，这个日期可能是最接近该公司创建的日期。
2013年，谷歌曾表示自己也不清楚到底在哪天庆祝生日，公司曾在7日、8日、26日，以及现在的27日庆祝生日。但这丝毫不影响这家公司挑个日子来过生日。
最有趣的是，虽然谷歌生日日期存有争议，但第一个谷歌涂鸦诞生的日子是1998年8月30日，甚至比谷歌正式成立还早几天。
Google最早是在1996年作为斯坦福大学的一个项目名称，当时谷歌创始人佩奇和布林决定研究一个搜索引擎，这个搜索引擎按照其他网站链接进行页面排名，不同于当时采用的是搜索短语出现的频率来进行页面排名。
